It isn’t about “winning”

Nor the grace we have to lose

When the moment matters most

It’s all in how we choose

To begin with an outcome

And bend ourself toward that?

Or start out from the inside

With full truth at our back…

When we’ve come to know ourself

And what we’re here to do

Regardless of the outcome

There’s nothing left to lose

Sometimes eyes can only

Clear after they cry

And some hearts only fill

When they’re willing to die
